Quarterly Monitor of Economic Trends and Policies in Serbia (QM)

 

The Quarterly Monitor of Economic Trends and Policies in Serbia (QM) is a publication of the Foundation for the Advancement of Economics that systematically observes macroeconomic, financial and corporate trends and analyzes economic policies in Serbia . The publication comes out four times a year in Serbian and English, and is distributed free of charge to designated target groups as well as the National Library of Serbia, the Svetozar Marković University Library, and the libraries of Faculties of Economics across the country.

 

QM has two sections: Trends and Spotlight On.

In its subsections (International Environment, Prices and the Exchange Rate, Economic Growth, Balance of Payments and Foreign Trade, Fiscal Flows and Policies, Monetary Flows and Policies, and Financial Markets) Trends reports on a quarterly basis the developments in practically all areas of economic life in Serbia. As of the next issue, a new subsection will be introduced: Wages and Employment.

 

The Spotlight On section features articles by distinguished economists on topical issues relating to the trends in and the structure of the Serbian economy, treated primarily through quantitative and comparative analysis methods. With this section, QM is endeavoring to promote and support international ties with institutions in the field of economics in this region. The first articles resulting directly from this cooperation are slated to appear as of the fourth issue.

 

Kori Udovički is the editor in chief, and Jurij Bajec, Boško Živković, Branko Urošević, Stojan Stamenković and Pavle Petrović serve on the Editorial Council.

 

On the editorial staff are: Dragana Cvijanović, Jasna Dimitrijević, Vuk Djoković, Goran Radosavljević, Duško Vasiljević (editor of Trends ), Vladimir Vučković, Jelena Ždrale (executive editor) and Boško Živković (editor of financial pages). Other associates include: Danko Brčerević, Mikica Drenovak, Dejan Kovjenić, Katarina Stanić, Milica Zvijer, Marina Vojvodičan, Tijana Ječmenica and Duška Anastasijević.
